Die 3 farbigen Linoldrucke zeigen Quallen der niederländischen Nordseeküste, inspiriert von Erinnerungen an die Kindheit. Der Fokus liegt auf der Faszination für die widersprüchliche Existenz von Quallen. Ich habe mich für Linoleum entschieden, weil ich damit die meiste Erfahrung habe, mir die Kontrolle gefällt und ich für meine „Fehler“ verantwortlich bin.
The three colored linocuts depict jellyfish from the Dutch North Sea coast. The inspiration came from childhood memories. However, the focus is on the fascination with the contradictory existence of jellyfish. I chose linoleum because I have the most experience with it, I like the control and being responsible for my own „mistakes“.
