The comic will follow the tragic baseball career of Tom Takeda. The story will aim to shine a light on the fundamentally broken system of American baseball and its ruthless nature towards its participants, starting from little league all the way to the major leagues. The story in particular will tackle Tom’s broken dreams, promises and ultimately his regret towards his life choices. Visually the comic will try to focus and highlight the free and fluid nature of the game, which will try to serve as a direct contrast to the ugly and stern system that was built behind it.
