Emerging primarily as a musical project in the form of a concept album, A Dream Upon Awakening reflects on the human condition of longing and the pursuit of ideals. In it, the artist sends her alter ego, „Miramio,” on a metaphorical journey through a forest, where she encounters various symbolic figures in the form of birds.
Along the way, themes such as the longing to belong, the experience of being an outsider, and profound loneliness are explored.

As Miramio continues her desperate search for connection, she gradually descends into madness, ultimately becoming completely consumed by her own obsession. Using symbolic images, the work becomes a metaphor for the deeply human misconception that true happiness will come once our imagined ideals are fulfilled.
