“The Sense of Time and our time” explores the complex nature of time. Drawing inspiration from Einstein’s theory of relativity, it challenges the conventional separation of space and time, presenting them instead as a single unity.

Part 1: Three sculptural paintings have “stepped down from the wall” to exist freely in space. Temporality is expressed through the act of painting – variations in brushstroke rhythm and color suggest that time “flows” faster higher up than lower down.

Part 2: A series of fired clay sculptures evokes the fragility and dissonance of time in today’s world.

In dialogue, the two parts of the installation reveal time’s dual nature: governed by universal laws, yet shaped by human perception.
